About me

I started studying computer science at Saarland University in October 2010 and handed in my bachelor thesis in June 2013. Subsequently, I joined the Graduate School with the goal of getting a doctoral degree. In June 2014, I finished the preparatory phase and became a PhD student in the Information Security and Cryptography Group. My supervisor is Michael Backes. My topics of interest include privacy (privacy in online social networks, genomic privacy, …), security (web security, network security, …) and cryptography.

During my free time, I like traveling, climbing and learning languages. Currently, I am learning Norwegian and Chinese. Moreover, I regularly assist IT startups with their product architecture and development (e.g., Capira).
